Now Accepting Applications – Full-Time Police Officer

Notice of Availability of Applications for Civil Service Examination for Full-Time Police Officer Borough of Summit Hill

Forms required to be completed in order to apply for the position of police officer are available at the Summit Hill Borough Building, 40 West Amidon Street, Suite 3, Summit Hill PA 18250. The Borough of Summit Hill office is open Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Call (570) 645-2305 if you have any questions.

Completed applications must be turned in to the Borough of Summit Hill office during normal business hours no later then 4:00 pm on Monday, June 8, 2026.

A written examination will be held on a date and time yet to be determined at 114 West Ludlow Street, Summit Hill, Pennsylvania. Other components of the test are an oral examination, a background check, a fitness test, a medical examination, psychological examination, and a polygraph examination. A complete copy of the Borough of Summit Hill’s hiring policy, as set forth in its Civil Service Rules, is available for inspection during regular business hours at 40 West Amidon Street, Suite 3, Summit Hill, PA 18250.
